    ReachOut is an online, safe place where young people can seek judgement-free support and access different resources.
    ReachOut is designed with – and specifically for – young people, ReachOut is 100% online, anonymous and confidential, and lets young people connect on their terms. From one-to-one peer support and moderated online communities, to tips, stories and resources.

    headspace Katoomba offers young people aged 12-25 a welcoming environment where they can access free and confidential mental health support as well as support with work and study and alcohol and/or other drug support. Young people aged 12 - 25 do not require a formal referral. Simply phone, email or walk in to arrange an appointment with one of our staff during business hours.

    call to mind telehealth service allows people across Australia to access quality mental health care. Their team of psychiatrists and psychologists ranges in availability and speciality to best meet individual needs, and consults are held on a video-conferencing platform so appointments can be attended from anywhere. There are also resources on mental health issues available via their website

    Service Seeker is a health, welfare and community services directory. It allows you to type in a postcode and then find services related to the area. 
  • Beyond Now app
    Beyond Now is a safety planning app that helps you work through suicidal thoughts/self-harm.
  • batyr
    batyr is a for purpose preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people. There are lots of helpful downloadable PDF resources for parents/carers in the batyr Resource Hub
  • eheadspace
    eheadspace is an online and phone support service for young people who may not find face to face counselling easy. Students can create an account and access a range of personalised services, information and support with help always at hand. Young people can log in to chat to other people like them, or get 1-on-1 direct support with a clinician.
  • Penrith Head to Health
    Penrith Head to Health is a free service offering caring, friendly and helpful support for people experiencing psychological distress, suicidal thoughts and crisis, in a calm and welcoming environment.
