Winmalee High School consistently enters four-six teams in the Blue Mountains Debating competition each year. As always, the students are talented and gracious in their efforts and demonstrate an admirable commitment to the preparation and delivery. This competition is open to both public and private secondary schools.

Winmalee High School also takes part in the Premier’s Debating Challenge organised by the Department of Education’s Arts Unit.

Winmalee High School students enthusiastically support local primary school debating competitions through adjudication of debates.

We would like to welcome you to the Dharug and Gundungurra land on which our school resides, acknowledging that though the surrounding environment has changed over time, the spiritual connection between the land and indigenous peoples remains. We would like to thank all those who gather and respect this connection.
