Visual Arts elective Stage 5 (Years 9-10)
Students who choose Visual Arts as an elective in Years 9-10 will use a variety of art forms - such as drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and digital media to create personal artworks. These artworks will explore a range of issues and ideas. Students undertake both critical and historical study of artists, their work and artistic traditions using the Conceptual Framework and the Frames.
Visual Design elective Stage 5 (Years 9-10)
The Visual Design elective course specialises in learning opportunities through the areas of print and object. This includes graphic, wearable, product, and interior/exterior design. Students are provided with opportunities to engage in student driven design projects, allowing them to develop their ability to think creatively, solve problems and respond to a design brief within a specific period.
