These include:
- Junior Ensemble (Years 7-8)
- Intermediate Ensemble (Years 9-10)
- Senior Ensemble (Years 9-12)
- Hip Hop Crew (Years 7-12)
- WHS Dance Company (invitation only, Years 8-12)
Rehearsals for these ensembles are generally scheduled before school at 7.30am-8.30am once a week.
Each ensemble has the opportunity to perform at a variety of local, regional and state level events coordinated by the Department of Education and public calendar.

- Synergy Public Schools Dance Festival - June
- Bring It On Hip Hop Competition - June
- Hawkesbury Eisteddfod - August
- Blue Mountains Nepean Dance Festival - September
- State Dance Festival (if selected) - September
- Schools Spectacular (if selected) - November
- WHS Dance Showcase - December
Winmalee High School has had excellent success in recent years at local eisteddfods and with gaining selection into the State Dance Festival and Schools Spectacular. We have had numerous students selected to be involved in the State Dance Ensembles and the Aboriginal Dance Company.
