WHS Alumni
We’re thrilled to share the stories of our former students with the school and wider community, highlighting their experiences at WHS and the diverse journeys they’ve taken since graduating.

Over the December 2020 school holidays, two former students, Daniel Cydes and Janne Birkner, painted a mural on the back wall of our school hall. Everyone who visits the school can see this amazing artwork!
We are very proud that Daniel and Janne created this mural. They kindly gave their time to complete it. As professional mural artists, we feel honoured to have their work on our school walls. The mural is about our students and was inspired by Lily Patterson, a former student and 2020 School Captain. She wanted a mural that showed the strength of our school community.
The mural represents the Year 12 class of 2020 and their strong spirit. It also stands for all students, past, present, and future. The student in the mural wears a backpack and a senior jersey, looking forward to show hope and determination. The pencil behind the ear means hard work and achievement. The native plants and animals show our special natural environment, care for it, and recovery after bushfires. The feathers and butterfly remember students we have lost.
We hope the mural brings happiness and inspiration to students and staff for many years.
We would love to hear from as many former students as possible across a wide range of years and pathways for our Alumni Spotlight feature. Former students can go to WHS Alumni Q & A to fill out the form and share their experiences with us.
